Malala said “If we want the education of girls, we should be united. We should do it now”
Women population constitutes around 50% of the world population. And most of the women around the world are unemployed that is the reason our world is suffering economically a lot. Women are equally competent even women are ahead of men in many socio- economic activities. Undoubtedly women are the backbone of our society such as caring mother, doting daughters, competent colleagues and other roles are played by women around us with grace. Buddha Educational Foundation launched its women empowerment programmer at Delhi in collaboration with the center for social service. Women empowerment is a powerful tool which refers to the creation of an environment for women where they can make decisions of their own as well as for the society. Women empowerment refers to a solid foundation to nurture the inner strength, creativity, and self-esteem of women from all walks of life. Now-a- days women are well enough to able to go out into the world, prepared to handle any challenge with skills, confidence and grace.

Women empowerment also leads to more economic benefits not to individuals but to the society as well. We help women to stand on their own legs, become independent and also to earn for their family which grows country’s economy. This leads to decrease in domestic violence and advantageous in the case of corruption. A large section of women in India, both in rural and urban slums need to be educated and empowered. Women too should be allowed to study and work and should be made aware of their role in the support and safety of their family.
